Guernica Press contracted HonkHonk to develop and produce this book jacket for Canadian writer, Brian Day. His newest collection, ‘The Daring of Paradise’, is included in the ‘Essential Poets’ series. Should be on shelves soon. I’ve been asked, “why the mug?” Because I read the poems and sitting with a warm tea in a comfy chair I wanted to share with readers how enjoyable a collection of poems can be. Day also has a keen wit which the souvenir mug nods toward.
